  • Works with Repository Engineers to manage metadata fields and mappings implemented in the repository
  • Maintains local controlled terms/authorities implemented in the repository
  • Utilizes system integrations to harvest and refresh metadata from external systems such as Alma, ArchivesSpace, and Emory FIRST
  • Coordinates/troubleshoots exports of metadata to external environments (e.g. OAI, Primo)
  • Investigates issues related to indexing
  • Performs singular and batch edits/updates to metadata
  • Troubleshoots issues related to ingest of metadata
  • Runs reports related to how metadata is populated/utilized across collections
  • Reviews metadata for accuracy and consistency based on reports
  • Reports related to metadata utilization, population, accuracy, and consistency
  • Metadata versioning, including audit trail for previous edits and reports relating to user activity
  • Views of different metadata segments (Descriptive, Technical, etc.) 
  • Detailed views of metadata (encoding across outputs)
  • Metadata exports (e.g. OAI)
  • Metadata editor or synchronization tool
  • Metadata mappings and configurations information or documentation
