Basic Content Editing Workflow

1. When working on new content or overhauling existing content, use the draft feature to save your work. If I put a previously published page into the draft status, then the page remains the same to the general public viewing the site, only users logged into Drupal are able to see the changes I made by clicking the Latest Version tab on the page.  The View tab will show you want the general public sees when viewing the site.
2. Give your content the status In Review once you have finished creating/editing/overhauling your content.  This will make the content appear in the Content Review section of the moderation dashboard.  You may want to notify your content czar to let them know you'd like them to review the content.  Or, reach out to Colin Bragg and he can review for you as well.
3. Once content has been reviewed by a content czar or the minister of style, the page can be published by the SME. And the content is then immediately live on the site (if you don't see it you may need to clear your cache).

Content Design Workflows

1. Consider using one of the Page Layout Helpers when creating new content.  You can make changes to the layout (removing a few sections) once you put the layout on the page.
2. If creating your own page layout, work with the minister of style to ensure you're following best practices and taking advantage of all of the different elements that are available to editors.
3. Check out the libraries' component page (must be logged in to view) for components, headings, page layouts, etc.  If you have new ideas for the site, work with the minister of style to spec them out.
