In this session you will learn how to create and manage content on your site. Content Authors and Editors will need to manage content and media.
There are multiple tools for entering data on Emory's site.
2.1 DATA COLLECTION TOOLS
Summary: How does all of the information about programs, research, resources, and services get entered and properly displayed on your website? What are the different data collection tools we’ll learn to use?
With a Drupal site, we can get our data displayed using a variety of data entry forms. The type of form defines how the data will be treated by the site. Data entry forms include:
- User Accounts
- Taxonomy Vocabularies
- Media Types
- Webforms
- Content Types
One of the great things about Drupal, is when you know how to enter data with one data entry form – you can easily understand how to use them all.
In this section we’ll learn more about the forms that are most relevant to your role as Emory Libraries Content Authors and Editors.
