Product Enhancement Process
Product enhancements are updates or modifications made to a product to increase its value, usability, or appeal to customers. These improvements aim to enhance the user experience, address evolving needs, and meet or exceed customer expectations.
EULM Technology and Digital Strategies focuses on enhancing products that are developed in-house. Stakeholders can currently request enhancements for the following products:
OpenEmory
Product enhancements are reviewed each semester and prioritized by the program manager in collaboration with product stakeholders and technical teams. The program manager assesses the value of each enhancement request with stakeholders and evaluates its complexity with technical teams. Enhancements that offer the highest value and present the lowest complexity are typically given the highest priority.
Products developed by external vendors must be reviewed and approved in accordance with the vendor’s product enhancement guidelines to ensure compatibility and support.
