Taxonomy for Data Categorization
Taxonomy for Data Categorization
Drupal’s system of categorization is called Taxonomy.
The Taxonomy system allows you to have as many Vocabularies as needed to categorize everything on your site.
A single Vocabulary can have one to many Terms.
A Term can have Child Terms which can have their own Child Terms as needed.
The width and depth of a vocabulary is essentially unlimited.
Although the Vocabularies are managed by your web development team, it’s helpful to understand the structure of the site. From an administrative level, nine Vocabularies have been set up on your site. Each Vocabulary has Terms that you will use to categorize when managing Content.
