- Generally unfamiliar with repository product interfaces
- Is typically the content creator using a self-deposit service, but may also be a designated proxy who assists the content creator
- Representative of one or more submitter-oriented Deposit User Profiles

- Irregular (as needed to maintain content)
General Motivators/Goals
- Contribute to the larger collection’s preservation and dissemination goals
- Maintains one or more individual digital objects’ intellectual content over time
- Contributes updates to Descriptive metadata for their objects
- Designates appropriate level of access to/visibility of the content
- Monitors usage of the content
Key Repository Management Tasks
- Coordinates and/or requests maintenance for individual digital objects and their constituent files
- Maintains descriptive metadata for content
- Coordinates with depositors to maintain content
- Troubleshoots issues at the individual object or file level
- Clarifies appropriate use and copyright for content
- Runs/requests analytics for usage of their content
