User Profiles for Repository Management Activities

The following user profiles were developed by the Repository Management Functional Requirements Group (FRG) and were approved by DLP Steering in Feb 2018. These profiles will be used to inform product user interface design and functionality, as well as to delineate roles and processes that support the repository, but are not necessarily self-service in a staff user interface. The profiles are also intended to surface needs for larger repository permissions management. For the Repository Management FRG context, these profiles focus on long-term management activities occurring in the repository after deposit: the Deposit FRG will also produce user profiles relative to deposit/ingest activities.

Note: these profiles are not intended to represent actual individuals, job titles, or serve as an operational RACI. They will be reviewed along with other DLP working groups’ profiles and may be further consolidated in the future into more robust user personas.
